Civilization and society are based on conditioning men and women from a political scheme that divides society, those at the bottom suffer the natural sensory activity of those who created the political scheme, the person acts, not on personal experience, but on the orders from above. Thus the personality become less "real", the organism has become, as Marx said, "a tool, a machine, a robot." Those at the top of the political scheme however, suffer an equal but opposite reaction, all that is forbidden to the bottom class, is demanded of the members of the master class. Communication is possible only between equals, the upper class never abstract enough information from the bottom class to know what is actually going on in the world. The result can only be progressive disorientation among the rulers. The end is debacle.
Civilization is a privilege, privilege implies exclusion from privilege, just as advantage implies disadvantage. Profit implies loss. If you and I exchange equal good, that's is called trade, but observe the actual world, you will see a profit accruing to one group and a equal steady loss accumulating for all others. This happen because the political scheme is not free nor random but determine by those who has privilege, and for them always profiting by there privilege from those losing without privilege, so there is no more free market nor freedom.
Both political views from our time are slightly different, but both have privilege. That's all.
